Some points to take care of:

1. Deacons must come early and before the Absolution of the Servants (May Your servants, ministers of this day...) to dress as Deacon.

2. All Deacons MUST take communion before the congregation.

3. Deacon's vestments (Tonia) should not have any picture (example: a picture of Jesus, Angels or Saints - see image 1). Tonia must only have crosses (see image 2). You will need to get a new Tonia if your Tonia has a picture.

4. If you are borrowing a Tonia from the Church, you must return and hang it back in the Deacon's closet. Please take care that the Tonia has been crossed before you dress up and should not be thrown in the Deacon's closet or left thrown around the Church, as some have left thrown in front of Fr. Meena's office.
